THE BASQUE PARACYCLING CIRCUIT is a race circuit that gathers in the same competition - specifically in the ten days from April 23 to May 3, 2009 - a series of trials included in the international calendar of this sport and that have become a benchmark for the paralympic family in the last years.
The specific races are the following:
Paracycling Bizkaiko Bira, in its thirteenth edition;
Urt's International Challenge, held for eight years now;
Criterium Zuzenak, with 9 editions already held
The Anoeta Grand Prix of Adapted Cycling in its second call.
Each of these races has its own personality with different qualification systems and awards, but there will be a final qualification deduced from the sum total of points and records obtained in the four races. There will be trophies awarded on the 6 bicycle categories, 3 on handbike, 2 on tricycles and one on tandem for V.I, in both women's and men's competitions.
The total of stages in the CIRCUIT will be of 9, 4 of which will be held in the category of long-distance road-racing, 3 will be time trials also in the road and two will be held in a cycle track.
Registration in the circuit must be done through Urt's International Challenge ( urtvelo64.net ), in Paracycling Bizkaiko Bira ( saiatu.org ) and by expressing to the organizers the interest for participating in the whole circuit of 9 trials. SAIATU and URT VELO 64.
